Cornerstone Refuge Church of Christ is a local Apostolic church located in the city of Manassas, Virginia spreading the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Their mission is to spread the good news to everyone. Their purpose is to provide every believer with the tools necessary to become true Disciples for Christ. Jesus is coming back for a church without a spot and without wrinkles, washed in the precious blood of the lamb. (Ephesians 5:27).
They asked us for a new, refreshing logo and brand identity to incorporate their church organization as the “church of the rock” – Hence the name of the church Cornerstone.
OUR PROCESS
We crafted a simply unique brand identity for Cornerstone that both meets up the requirements of a religious organization and exemplifies the name Cornerstone using the shapes and texture of the typeface. The building blocks of the abbreviation letters help convey their passion of founding their church upon the solid rock(s) in addition to forming a cross in the middle section. Once the logo brand was final, the marketing materials further push the expectations of capturing the church’s passion and beliefs by adding more content to give the new brand identity a breath of fresh air to the community.
THE RESULT
After delivering the marketing materials to the church for witnessing programs and events, they received excellent feedback from the community and visitors in their events and services. Sequentially, they came back to us and were ready to take the next step on their branding identity by having us build a website from them. So, we took the challenge!
